Easter Dinner

Stuffing and porridge "Zozulya", krapanka and dryapanka, svyshchyk and electronic bell-ringer —all these are part of Ukrainian Easter traditions and spring rituals that have been nearly forgotten due to the long and ruthless trials of the 20th century.

That is why a new series of the "Zapal"documentary project by Craft Story studio was created. In this series, three outstanding artists—musician Nata Zhyzhchenko (Onuka), chef Yevhen Klopotenko, and costume designer & stylist Lesia Patoka —embarked on an expedition across Central Ukraine to explore unique Easter traditions and spring rituals.

Now, we are hosting a dinner inspired by this new "Zapal" episode about Easter. Yevhen Klopotenko has prepared seven dishes inspired by his journey. The evening will feature Ukrainian drinks and storytelling about forgotten traditions and recipes.
